History of the Sky Clans

How it all began....

It all started when the clans still lived on the lands. Sharing there world with the two-legs and other animals alike, it a some what peaceful world. Of course the clans stil had there little spats and battles were fought for territorybut that was considered normal. But when it all started to become a little to frequent, starclan grew agnry of the blood sheding cats. They saw that they were not sheding blood just for honor or defensive but for pleasure and greed. There greed was darkening there hearts. The starclan cats spoke amoungsts themselves one night...

"This is becoming ridiculous!" spat a rather large grey tom.

"Well Greystar, what do you suppose we do?" mewed a mousy brown female, who went by the name Mousestar. She shook her head. "Even my wonderous Thunderclan has been plauged by this greed.... and I would have thought more of Birchstar...." she mewed gravely her yellow eyes lowering.

Sparkstar stood up now, the golden tom peered down upon his fellow leaders. "We can not let this continue. Poor kits are being trained to young, most dying within a moon of harsh training. I hate to see my Windclan decendants suffering like this...." a black tail rested on his sholder. A female named Inkstar.

"As have Riverclan, the fish is scarce and the cats are resulting to stealing." she mewed shaking her head. Taking a seat beside her fellow leaders.

Greystar lifted his mussle. "It is time. I know now that this is the only way. The flood...." the former Shadowclan leader mewed. A gasp escaping the maw of Mousestar. He turned towards her. "It is the only way to cleanse this monstrosity."


Mousestars eyes saddened. "But thats is almost like extiction! Banishing all those below us. All that we hold dear on earth." she mewed.

"No. Hes right. We shall send dreams to those pure of heart. And we will lift it to the skies. Bits a pieces of all our clans territories. And we will leave only behind a mountain range for them to gather on full moons." Sparkstar mewed nodding his head in approval.

"But how will they get there?" Mousestar asked.

"We shall grant them wings for the full moon." Inkstar mewed, the usually silent Riverclan leader. All the leaders nodded in approval. "Then it is decided." she mewed and the leader all stood up. Dipped there heads and walked away. Mousestar went off to Thunderclan, seaking a she-cat by the name Rainbowheart. Sparkstar went off to windclan to find a she-cat named Celestrialgaze. Greystar went of to Shadowclan to find a tom named Stormstrike, and Inkstar went of to riverclan to find a tom named Cloudwhisker.

From then on they had all sent this dream to them. "With blood comes death. When the earth shakes the sky will be your savior." after that they had told them to find others like them. About five others that had not been plauged by greed. And to meet them at Starpool. The center of all clans territories. As they did so on the night of the full moon, the ground shook. And in moments the ground was rising. And as they peered over the edge the sea water had begun taking over. Splashing over the lands violently. And as the island rose and took shelter above the clouds it stoped. And the starry leaders appeared again.....

"Rainbowheart..." Mousestar spoke as the female stepped forward. "You have shown to be the light through those dark times. And in return, i grant you the name Rainbowstar, and i flow my nine lives into you." Mousestar stepped forward and tuched her nose to her forhead. "You must travel to the mighty oaks, there Rainbowclan will be made. And Smoketail is to be your medicine cat." Rainbowstar dipped her head and signaled for her group to leave.

Greystar stepped forward. "Stormstrike, you have been strong throughout this time. And challenged many cats for the good of all cats. And so i grant you the name Stormstar, take these lives with pride." Greystar met the other dark grey tom. Touching his nose to his forehead. "Now go to the pines. There will rest Stormclan. Dewpetal is to be your new medicine cat." The tom dipped his head, turned flicked his tail for his group and set off.

Sparkstar stepped forward. "I have have chosen Celestrialgaze. She has been smart about this whole thing. Trying to save as mant of her clanmates as possible. And for this I grant you the name of Celestrialstar." He leaned forward to touch his nose to the female. " Follow the meadows to two birch trees, there Celestrialclan will grow. Whitetip is to be your new medicine cat." Celestrialstar nodded before signaling her group to follow her.

Finally Inkstar walked up. Her grey gaze on a young tom. "Cloudwhisker." the white tom cat stepped forward shyly. "You have been very brave in all this. And despite your fears worked on tryingto save your clanmates. And so I give you the name Cloudstar, and my nine lives." she stepped forward and touched her nose to his forehead. "Now head off to the mist, following the sound of the river. There Cloudclan will strive. And young Meadowpaw, you derve your full medicine cat name from now on you are Meadowlight. Take care of our clan." With that the shy tom cat bowed his head and signaled for his group to set off.


And as expected the clans have found there homes. Each fitting to their needs as they built there clans. And so begun the legacy of Rainbownclan, Celestrialclan,Stormclan and Cloudclan. But what happend to those still on earth? Most perished but a small group of six cats. All clinging onto a floating branch.

A starry cat lowered onto the ocean, walking along the waters. "Hello young cats, I am Hopewave. I see you have yourself stuck. I believe yo all have the ability to change. And so the branch you all are clinging on to." The female turned her gaze on a distant area in the ocean. In moments a group of Islands arose from teh depths. "Islandbreeze, I give you nine lives and the title of Islandstar. Lead your clan to be great, and strong. And with one last gift from me...." a wind picked up and blew the branch to the shore of the middle island. "Welcome to Islandclan..... Twigfur will heal you as your new medicine cat." with that her voice faded.
